Theory: Barium sulphate is the inorganic compound with the chemical formula BaSO4. It is a white crystalline solid that is odourless and insoluble in water. It occurs as the mineral barite, which is the main commercial source of barium and materials prepared from it. Barium sulphate powder is used medically as a radiocontrast agent for X-ray imaging and other diagnostic procedures.
Formula:

| Sodium saccharin | 0.025 g |
| Vanillin | 0.01 g |
Procedure:
- Weigh the required amount of all the ingredients in ascending order of their weight.
- Mix all the weighed ingredients in the mortar properly.
- Store in a suitable container.
